The Goal: 

To deliver a mobile app that will change the way tickets are handled and sent for invoicing; to remove delays in the timeframe from data recording to receipt of data by the document processing team.

The Client:

Biowood Recycling, provides a fully managed and certified waste collection and disposal solution to customers up and down the supply chain. Established in 2012 as a recycled pallet broker, Biowood has grown rapidly to become one of the market leaders in the Waste Recycling industry. It still trades in the waste wood sector, but have also diversified into general waste. Working closely with established network of reliable and reputable companies throughout the whole of the UK, they offer a first-class, hassle-free service for any company (big or small) that has waste for disposal. 

The Challenge:

A lot of time wasted on matching up tickets for processing leading to delayed payments. There was a need to get invoices paid faster whilst having less paperwork to do.”

Equipped with the new App, drivers and weighbridge operators will be able to log and transmit weighbridge data, complete with an image of the ticket, synchronizing information in real time with Biowood Recycling’s head office systems 

The Solution:

Exclusively for Biowood’s expanding network of over 50 haulage partners, operating thousands of trucks, we designed a new mobile app to help cut the administration of paper-based weighbridge tickets and waste transfer notes. Additionally, the app provides instant communication for drivers with logistics staff and account managers at Biowood Recycling head office, in turn speeding up payments across the sector
